It’s interesting because it talks about something that gets mentioned very little in a lot of discussion regarding tai chi chuan – strength.

Too many people have a misunderstanding of what the ‘softness’ in tai chi is; they just do ‘wet noodle’ movements and hope for the best. But there’s a whole art of body alignments that allow you to release your muscular tension (softness on the outside) and rely on your skeletal alignments/connective tissue instead (steel on the inside).
